Killarney RFC Holds Successful Annual General Meeting

Killarney RFC, one of County Kerry’s esteemed rugby clubs, successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 29th of May, 2024. The meeting, attended by club members, players, and supporters, provided a comprehensive overview of the club’s activities, achievements, and future plans.

The AGM commenced with a warm welcome from Club Chairman Ger Moynihan, who expressed gratitude to all attendees for their continuous support and dedication to Killarney RFC. The Chairman highlighted the club’s significant achievements over the past year, including the successful completion of various competitions, community outreach programs, and infrastructure improvements.

Financial Report: Treasurer Mike Walker presented a detailed financial report showcasing a stable and positive financial position. The report highlighted prudent financial management and successful fundraising efforts, ensuring the club’s sustainability and growth.

Team Performances: Senior Coach Ger Moynihan reviewed the performance of the senior and junior teams, celebrating notable victories and player development. The coach emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, and hard work in achieving success on the field.

Youth Development: Club Secretary Gerard Sugrue reported on the progress of the youth programs, emphasizing the club’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
